Shinhan Bank offers more language services

Shinhan Bank added Mongolian and Vietnamese services to its foreign language call center service on Monday.

With the addition of the two languages, the company’s Global Call Center (1577-8380) gives service in five languages.

The company has been offering related services in Chinese, English and Japanese since last year. 

According to the bank, this is the first time native Mongolian and Vietnamese speakers have been trained as consultants to offer such services in Korea.

In addition to the call center, the bank plans to begin providing online services in nine languages – simplified and traditional Chinese, Indonesian, Tagalog and Thai – in addition to English, Japanese, Mongolian and Vietnamese from September.
